Get your hazmat suits on, ’cause you’re about to enter into dangerous territory. The Cathay is collaborating with escape room experts Freeing SG to craft a dangerous zombie combat mission for all you adrenaline junkies. This month, there’ll be an industrial-themed room set up at the mall’s outside atrium, where aspiring zombie fighters can suit up to hold the fate of the world in their hands.
‘Rise to the Challenge: Biohazard’ includes solving sci-fi puzzles and freeing a captive scientist to save mankind. If you spend a minimum of $10 in a single receipt at the mall (or present a Cathay Cineplex ticket stub), you’ll gain entry into the game. Otherwise, it’s $28 for a ticket to experience the zombie escape room. Teams with the fastest timings will win Cathay Cineplex movie vouchers.
