A 25-year-old man was sentenced to four weeks in jail yesterday for taking upskirt videos of women at a supermarket.
On April 12 this year, Leon Liang Yiwei had placed his iPhone 4S in a shopping basket at the Market Place in Paragon shopping centre with the camera pointing up, Channel NewsAsia reports.
He stood closely behind two women, angling the phone underneath their skirts and recording the images on video — all this happened in about 10 minutes, and in view of the supermarket’s loss prevention officer, who stopped him as he left.
