Instead of stuffing themselves with Chinese New Year goodies, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Explosive Ordnance Disposal had their hands full with a war relic.
The 155mm British projectile was found at a construction site in the Changi Coast vicinity yesterday night. The team worked overnight assessing the relic and preparing the area before safely disposing it early this morning.
The case arrives just weeks after another war relic was discovered and disposed at a construction site in Sengkang West.
