One Suzuki Swift driver’s reported hit-and-run attempt was foiled by a Traffic Police officer, who relentlessly pursued him even after he got out of his vehicle and fled the scene on foot. According to a video making the rounds online, the driver was allegedly involved in a car crash with a Traffic Police motorcycle.
It’s not exactly clear when and where the collision happened — this is an internet video, after all — but the clip showed what looked like the aftermath of the accident, with images of the two damaged vehicles involved in the incident.
It appears that the officer was hot on the heels of the driver, chasing him down on foot as traffic came to a halt. It is believed that the officer was a ‘stealth biker’ — a covert officer who’s part of the Traffic Police’s Special Operations Team that cracks down on motorists who commit common traffic offences.
