The historic Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall will reopen in August this year, in time for the Singapore International Festival of Arts.
The revamped music and theatre hub will be fully operational from 2015 onwards.
The 614-seat theatre and 673-seat concert hall cost $158 million to revamp and will boast better acoustics, the result of reducing the seating capacity of each venue.
The Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall will both be run by The Esplanade Co. Ltd. and will span 13,800 sq. m. or the equivalent of two Olympic soccer fields, when completed.
They will also house rehearsal rooms for dance, music and theatre, as well as food and beverage outlets.
