Look, we all teared up a little seeing the dire straits of the 94 cats which would have suffered a worse fate in the flat of a backyard breeder, if not for an extensive rescue operation.

It’s been more than a week since the felines were rescued from the mangy two-room HDB flat in Fernvale, and we’re more than happy to report that they look way happier (and healthier) now under proper care and love. Praise Bastet!

Previously caked in urine and poop, as well as suffering various infections, injuries and trauma from the poor living conditions, the cats are back to their adorable selves after getting washed up. What a difference some clean air, water, more food and bigger living space makes:

Want the cats to get even happier? Here’s a list of how you can support the efforts to get them back on their furry feet:

Saving the Siameses fundraising mini-bazaar at Cat Cafe Neko no Niwa. Drop cash or cheques in donation boxes on event day to help fund fees for veterinary costs and boarding fees.

Purchase canned Kit Cat wet food via Perro Mart, which will be directly passed on to the Saving the Siameses campaign.

Purchase earrings by Teapot the Therapy Cat — full proceeds to be donated to the campaign.

Auction for artwork from artist Chia-Heng Li Ching, or donate privately through her.
