The Real Singapore, who claim they’re in contact with wealth manager Anton Casey, say they’ve received an apology from the man, meant for “immediate publication”.
It’s probably advisable to take this, as with every other piece of evidence we’ve seen that points towards ex-Miss Singapore Universe Bernice Wong’s husband being an anti-social prat, with a pinch of salt, but if it’s really true, then Casey’s definitely buckling under some nasty backlash.
In his supposed apology letter — read in full below — Casey explains his family especially his son, are suffering from emotional and verbal abuse. Because of the abuse, which apparently includes death threats, he is asking that he be forgiven for his “poor judgment” and given a “second chance to rebuild the trust” the people had in him as a Singapore resident.
Casey also reveals he has gone to the police about the matter.
Think the letter’s real? And if it is, is this guy, who called public transport commuters “poor people”, for real?
Who knows.
