Shin Min Daily News reports that the second generation karung guni (rag-and-bone) man Steven Chan is looking for love again after a failed marriage. Frequent arguments and “differences in thinking” between him and his former wife led to the divorce. They have a 23-year-old daughter together.
According to him, the ad has attracted a caller already. A 46-year-old woman contacted him after seeing the banner, and he should be meeting up with her next week.
One suggestion for Chan — he should make his rounds around HDB estates and honk his horn, but look for suitable partners instead of unwanted items.
