A public memorial is indeed being held for Aloysius Pang, the TV actor and reservist national serviceman who died from the serious injuries he sustained during a military exercise in New Zealand.

Everyone is invited to pay their respects to the deceased 28-year-old this weekend at 82A Macpherson Lane, a multi-purpose hall situated within an HDB estate. The wake will be open to the public from noon tomorrow till noon on Sunday, according to Pang’s talent management agency NoonTalk Media.

The agency also politely requests everyone (especially the super-intrusive entertainment reporters who’ve been bugging Pang’s girlfriend) to respect the family’s privacy in the morning, while they’re having their own private wake.

If anyone’s wondering how to get there, it’s a seven-minute walk from Tai Seng MRT station.

It’s unclear for now if the Singapore Armed Forces will be according Pang a military funeral, or if his family even wants to have one. Tearful tributes and testimonies to his character continue to pour out today as his body arrived home earlier this afternoon from New Zealand on a Republic of Singapore Air Force military aircraft.
