If you’ve noticed blooms in lovely pink hues across the island lately, well, you’re not alone. On Monday, NParks took to Facebook with gorgeous photos of trumpet trees — they get their name from their trumpet-shaped flowers — captured by people all over Singapore, from roadsides to parks. And it sparked off a wave of netizens offering their own snapshots of these pretty plants everywhere from Nicoll Highway and Robertson Quay to Yishun and Pasir Panjang to Bishan and Pasir Ris.
Brighten up your day with a scroll through some of NParks’ pictures below. And if this piques your interest in nature, trees.sg will tell you more about the urban forest in Singapore.
