Following Potong Pasir Member of Parliament Mr. Sitoh Yih Pin’s call for help to kick the neighbourhood’s rodent infestation in the bud, the National Environment Agency (NEA) is introducing intensive measures such as trapping and surveillance, with hope that the rat sources will be identified.

NEA will also be stepping up checks on waste management and hygiene practices of the food shops around Potong Pasir particularly the Sennett Estate, and will continue drainage repair work to prevent further infestation.
