It’s a sort of nightmare that all of us commuters have envisioned before: riding on the MRT with our belongings billowing in the wind after they somehow get trapped outside the train doors.
If the thing that’s dangling outside is bulky/heavy enough, it could cause serious danger. But this dude simply had to endure a very awkward ride. Uploaded by u/7Testicles onto Singapore’s Reddit community, the picture showed a man inside the train clutching on to the handle of his paper bag, while watching his stuff suspended and exposed to the elements outside.
Very awkward, indeed.
The image sparked off anecdotes by other Redditors who had first-hand experience with seeing doors shut on them and other people at the worst possible moment.
