On Sunday (Dec 4), two Singaporeans, both aged 34, were found to be carrying a total of A$520,450 in cash at Adelaide Airport. According to the Australian Federal Police (AFP), the men were stopped by an AFP Cash and Drug Detector dog named Utana — let’s just pause for a moment and sigh a collective ‘awww’ at the dog.

Apparently, Utana went up to one of the men in the check-in area, and the police searched his luggage and found A$250,000. After searching the second man’s bag, they found A$270,450. Both were arrested and charged in the Adelaide Magistrates Court with dealing with criminal proceeds.
According to the AFP, this was ‘the largest cash seizure by one of [their] canines at Adelaide Airport’. FYI, you have to declare if you’re carrying more than A$10,000 in cash before you depart Australia.
But back to Utana.

Netizens were loving the dog’s beaming look of pride.
