Police classify case of headless body as murder

According to TODAY, the case of the decapitated body found in Whampoa River has been classified as murder. 

The report reveals the body, which was also missing her hands, was dressed only in black pants and is at this moment, still unidentified. 

The Criminal Investigation Department was said to have scoured the area for evidence for five hours, drawing attention from passers-by, unhindered by the smell. 

Three Singapore Civil Defence Force officers were also reportedly seen searching the waters of the canal.
