Yesterday, a 44-year-old man was arrested at Khatib for two counts of molest.
On Sept. 19, a 25-year-old woman reported the suspect, whom she claimed molested her on board a public bus in Marsiling. The incident happened on Aug. 31.
After determining the suspect’s identity, officers from the Jurong Police Division picked him up and discovered he was linked to a similar case of outrage of modesty case reported on Sept. 22.
If convicted in court today, he may face a jail sentence up to two years, or fined, and caned.
