Plastic chip found in a bottle of Pakary Haw Ball; affected batch voluntarily recalled

The China-made Pakary Haw Ball candy has been voluntarily recalled by its importer after a small plastic chip was discovered in an 80g bottle by a member of the public. The affected batch has an expiry date of Sept 30, 2017, but those who bought the product are warned not to consume it as a precautionary measure.

The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore is working with the importer to investigate the case.
