In pics: Here’s what to look out for at the largest edition of the Singapore Garden Festival

The Singapore Garden Festival is back, and with it comes a whole lot of garden designs and floral exhibits. Spread across Gardens by the Bay, this edition is the largest show to date, with more than 70 displays created by 47 designers from around the world.

Here are some highlights of the fest.


15 fantasy and landscape show gardens created by international and local designers.

14 colourful and vibrant floral ‘windows to the world’ displays by floral designers from across the globe.

The orchid extravaganza at the Flower Dome, where you can gaze upon 12,000 orchids.

5 balcony gardens specially designed to serve as inspiration for home owners who want to create their own.

The Gardeners’ Cup, which features show gardens by 60 community gardening groups designed to the theme of ‘floral wonderland’.

Also look out for table-top floral displays created with fresh flowers and decorative accessories, the world of terrariums, and a bustling marketplace filled with more than 100 booths offering food, crafts and gardening products — all to a backdrop of live music performances.

The Singapore Garden Festival 2016 is from Jul 23-31 at Gardens by the Bay. Adults $12-$20 for residents, $23-$33 for non-local residents.
