Photographer behind those hilariously bad wedding pics responds; puts up the decent ones

Everyone’s had a proper laugh over the plight of newlywed Jaclyn Ying and the horribly photographed pictures at her wedding day, said to be a packaged deal from a “pretty reputable bridal shop”.

Just in case you forgot how bad they were, let us remind you again of their abysmal quality:

In the wake of the post’s virality on Facebook, the man behind the lens (and oddly-coloured edits) defended his work — asserting that he put 10 hours of manpower into the job that day and that he edited over 900 photos for them. The bad batch of photos that went viral were less than 20, photographer Chung Siew Goh says, and he insists that it’s unfair for Ying to spoil their reputation.

Chung even uploaded some of the better pics from that day, which to be honest are decent at best — even though they might not be that outstanding. Also, 900 photos are nothing compared to the standard thousands usually shot at any other event that requires professional photography.

No response yet from Ying, but we’re pretty sure she’s still seeking for some compensation. At least she scored a free 3-hour photography session with a proper agency (Multifolds Photography), courtesy of 987FM.

Going Above the Noise

Remember the girl who shared her wedding photos which went viral on Facebook yesterday night? Guess what! On The Happy Ending with Kimberly Haley Wang last night, we managed to sneak a surprise on the girl – with a 3 hour wedding photography session with Multifolds Photography! Most people think of revenge when things don’t go their way, but this girl was able to take it in her stride and laugh it off instead of shaming anyone. We decided to go well Above The Noise by sprucing up the surprise a little bit more! Jaclyn is going to have her hair done by Salon Vim, make-up by Kazumi Jasmine, wedding gown by Z Wedding D’sign and we’re going to loan her Gerald Koh’s car to give her the experience she deserves. Click on the video to find out what happened on Kim’s show last night!
