Six or seven foreign workers, sprawled across the floor at Bugis MRT station with their shoes — and for one, his pants — loose.
For many who’d seen the photo submitted to The Real Singapore by a certain ‘Tamila Boyz’, the scene was unacceptable, especially after the recent turn of events at Little India.
Several though, have shown compassion for the workers, who’d presumably spent New Year’s Eve drinking with their friends.
One Facebook user said, “Who doesn’t get drunk? Anyway, they work so hard under the hot sun so they want to drink to forget. And it’s not just the foreign talents who get drunk. I’ve seen Singaporeans who look worse when they’re drunk.”
