Armed robberies are totally serious crimes, you guys. The knife-wielding suspect who made away with $2,000 from a Western Union branch in Ubi yesterday morning remains at large, and the police have since publicly released a CCTV still of him in a bid to attain information that could lead to his arrest.
Unfortunately, it seems people were more concerned about his get-up than helping the police to nab him. Aside from the fact that it’s highly difficult to identify the alleged robber from the photo (he wasn’t born with a white helmet on his head, FYI), snarky Force-aligned netizens pointed out that the dude was a… Stormtrooper. Star Wars references abounded, of course — have a gander at ‘em all, young padawans.
