Passenger dies on Singapore-bound SIA flight from New Delhi

Singapore Airlines (SIA) have confirmed that a passenger on one of their flights passed away while en route to Changi Airport this morning.

The passenger died on flight SQ403 from New Delhi to Singapore, SIA confirmed to Channel NewsAsia, declining to share further details for privacy purposes. A passenger on the flight however revealed that the deceased man was in his 30s, and had been travelling with his wife and child — but SIA declined to confirm the details.

“Our condolences go out to the family of the passenger at this time,” wrote SIA.

Unlike the time when a Tiger Air flight made a premature landing when a Singaporean passenger died mid-air, the SIA plane was not diverted following the death.
