A mega childcare centre run by the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) is soon to be established along Woodlands Street 13 by the end of 2016.
TODAY reports that the $5 million double-storey centre can accommodate 300 children, complete with outdoor spaces, a rooftop play area and classrooms. The centre will also make use of nearby amenities such as Woodlands Stadium and Woodlands Town park East to provide toddlers a more health-oriented early education.
Five more of PCF’s jumbo childcare centres will also be built by the end of next year, with two of them confirmed to be built in Jurong West and Yishun.
The fees for children enrolled in these jumbo childcare centres are expected to be in the affordable price range, considering the PCF’s status to serve less financially well-off families.
