Singapore’s manpower minister Mr. Tan Chuan Jin announced yesterday that there were 1.32 million foreigners working in Singapore as of December last year, in response to a question posted in Parliament by NMP Mary Liew, TODAY reports.
Domestic workers make up 16.86 percent (224,500 people) of the foreigners employed, with the other 1,107,100 distributed across sectors like construction, marine and F&B.
