Outrage ensues as viral Government tender makes inhumane demands in creative brief

Leave it to the Government to make unreasonable, unaccommodating and honestly irrational demands upon the industry they misunderstand the most — the creative industry.

A brief posted on the Government-to-business procurement portal GeBIZ recently went viral for all the wrong reasons, showcasing the worst conditions ever for creative agencies. Designer Kelley Cheng — of publishing and design consultancy The Press Room — took issue with the inhumane brief and posted it up on her Facebook page

“Multiple Demands for Unlimited Changes for Design Services on Gebiz,” she writes.

“As a designer, I Protest, Do you? Please share this post if you are against Unlimited Changes – Be the Change you want to see in the world.”

Despite the unknown government agency’s insistence on looking for a company with “creative ideas, NOT a printer”, what they really should be looking for are tireless dogs, considering their unreasonable demands.

Unlimited changes for everything? Able to present everything in any Chinese fonts? Everything’s done within two working days? Bugger off mate, look for printing robots instead of actual humans.
