Another early morning accident on the roads today (after a harrowing one on the SLE yesterday) left one person injured after a car mounted the centre divider along Braddell Road.
Reports say the accident took place at about 6.45am in the direction towards Bartley after Toa Payoh, with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) advising motorists to avoid the right lane.
The congestion that followed was seen all the way till the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) that lasted beyond 8.55am.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) dispatched an ambulance to the scene, conveying one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. No further details were found about how the accident transpired.
