Shit happens man. HDB will have something to answer for in a recent (literal) shitstorm that occurred at the new BTO flats at Compassvale when a sewer pipe burst and leaked excrement all over.
According to the Punggol Waterway site created by the residents of the estate, the pipage in question started emitting some rumbling sounds a few days before all hell broke forth.
“From what we know, the make of the pipes seems to be different from the usual ones that we have in the previous generation of flats,” the post stated.
Pictures depicted exactly how bad it was, with excrement sticking on the walls and a generous amount of solid waste on the floor, where pedestrians and residents can gleefully have a whiff of when passing by the now-cordoned off area.
Residents there only started collecting keys earlier this year, and rightfully, they should be more than mad to experience this shitty welcome to their new home.
