We all knew it was too good to last for long — and indeed, the lovely, cool, and crisp air-conditioner weather that we enjoyed last week has finally, officially, come to an end.

Temperatures across the island have been on the rise today — as high as 29°C — bringing an end to the cool spell that saw temperatures dropping to a chilly 21.7°C just a couple days ago.

As of 3:17pm today, most of Singapore was hitting the high 20s, with Jurong at 29.5°C, Changi at 29.1°C, and Marina Barrage at 29.7°C, while Sentosa went up to 30.1°C, according to the Meteorological Service Singapore website. The lowest recorded temperature so far today was Jurong West at 22.5°C at 7:34am.

Guess we’re back to being good old Sunny Singapore. Time to ditch the chic jackets we’ve been happily wearing last week.
