If you were taking a stroll along Tanjong Beach in Sentosa early yesterday morning, you might’ve seen a model and a photographer doing their jobs. But this was no ordinary photo shoot — it was a nude one. And Singapore doesn’t look too kindly on indecent exposure (offenders can be fined up to $2,000 or jailed for three months).
According to The New Paper, the model claimed her name was Lucille, and said she was a 33-year-old Brit here on holiday. The photographer, Dave, was a Singaporean friend helping to ‘expand her work portfolio’.
Neither professed to intentionally defying the law.
So they went on with their photo shoot, with Lucille covered in nothing but a fishing net, and didn’t seem to bother any passers-by. It was only at 11.50am that two Sentosa Development Corporation rangers interrupted the session and let the two off with a warning after they agreed to stop.
