North Vista Secondary hit by loanshark graffiti but debtor has nothing to do with school

As if HDB corridors and stairwells weren’t enough, loan sharks allegedly brought their paint-throwing antics to a school in Sengkang.

Returning from a final term break yesterday, North Vista Secondary School teachers and students were greeted with red paint splattered on the wall that displayed the school’s name and logo at the main gate.

TODAY reports that there were also posters listing the names and details of a man and his son, who acted as a guarantor for the man’s $2,500 debt. The poster stated that the son was a student from Rivervale Secondary School — which doesn’t exist. There is a Rivervale Primary School, however.

North Vista Secondary principal also informed TODAY that the names listed on the poster have nothing to do with the school. What a bunch of bumbling jokers, these loan sharks.

A police report has been lodged, and the authorities are investigating the case of mischief. Meanwhile, the posters have been torn down while the wall has been repainted to its original condition.
