Yup, F1 is back, and if you’re not a fan, the nightmare is about to begin… or maybe not. If you’ve got access to Zone 1, go to the Trispan Lifestyle Area and watch Cirque Surreal (Sept 21-22) the UK’s Night Circus (Sept 20-21) and Masquerade (Sept 20-22) for some amazing circus theatre complete with fire trickery and aerial performances. Also don’t miss Chaos, an outdoor theatre spectacular showing at the Padang on Sept 21-22.

59 food and beverage outlets will be hawking their stuff across the Circuit Park. Depending on the access limitations on your pass, you can either visit the Hawker Village in Zone 4 for food from restaurants like Al Dente, Barossa, Go India Express, Peach Garden and Shiraz, or have seafood dishes such as Tung Lok’s chili crab claw with mantou at Zone 1. Craving mee siam or belacan chicken? The Singapore Street Food @ Bay will be set up under the Bay Grandstand this year. Thirsty? Go on a concept bar crawl — there’s the brewery tavern by Tiger Beer, two margarita bars, six Grid bars and the iconic Coates & Ice Cold Beer bar.

What’s a national Singapore event without a few pyrotechnic shows, right? Bay Grandstand ticketholders will be treated to fireworks after every Ocean Symphony performance on Friday and Saturday. The big race on Sunday will end with fireworks too, naturally.
