Business owners, beware — a letter from one “Singapore Company Register” is making its rounds in the mailbox.
In it, the company seeks verification of your email address and “other information as requested upon your log in”.
Whatever the letter says, don’t do it.
Singapore-based The Company Consultants (TCC) has issued a fraud alert after a few of its own clients reported receiving the deceiving letter.
On their website, TCC posted a picture of the letter and warns that the ‘Singapore Company Register’ does not exist, and that “every business and company is listed with ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority)”.
