A man just got his electric scooter impounded by the authorities, and for good reason too — the dumbass was endangering himself and others along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) yesterday morning, casually cruising along the middle of the busy highway.
His highly dangerous antics were caught on camera and uploaded to social media, where the clip obviously went viral.
Fortunately, the rider’s illegal stunt was shut down by Traffic Police and Land Transport Authority (LTA) enforcement officers, who caught him along the PIE, right before the Eng Neo exit. According to their statement, his e-scooter has been impounded, and he’ll be “assisting” in their investigations.
This case is only the latest in a spree of e-scooter riders who think nothing of zipping on expressways, alongside vehicles that can easily crush them to a pulp. Just earlier this month, one was spotted cruising in the middle of the underground Marina Coastal Expressway.
