When a tipper truck is left tilted precariously on a 45 degree angle to its side, you have to wonder how the accident happened in the first place.
The strange position of this large vehicle along the Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) towards East Coast Parkway (ECP) has prompted the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to close its exit towards Nicoll Highway. And for good reason — the truck is nearly blocking the entire exit, and it looks like it might tumble over anytime soon.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the scene around 10:55am, and conveyed the truck’s driver to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
