Only a day old is Far East Hospitality’s newest hotel AMOY, whose entire being is an advocate of Singapore’s vibrant history.
The boutique hotel located within heritage conservation enclave Far East Square, is the first in the city to incorporate a museum that traces the footsteps of early immigrants from China.
Just the walk to the hotel evokes nostalgia — you’ll have to pass Singapore’s first street museum, former temple and headquarters for the Cantonese and Hakka communities in the 1800s Fu Tak Chi.
Far East Hospitality CEO Arthur Kiong said that AMOY will offer modern-day travelers more than just comfortable stays because it tells the Singapore story.
“At AMOY, we also make it a point to welcome all our foreign travellers from the airport, just like how early migrants were picked up by their loved ones upon arriving on Singapore’s shores. This is our commitment to ensure that our service is personalied,” he added.
AMOY is offering promotions from now through Feb. 9, 2014 at SGD218++ for its Cosy Single room and SGD268++ for its Deluxe Double room. Rates are inclusive of a range of services including arrival transfers from the airport, unlimited broadband Internet access, continental breakfast and light in-room refreshments.
Guests who book their stays via Far East Hospitality’s website will receive complimentary City Tour’s FunVee open-top bus tours for two persons, worth up to SGD39.80. Guests can choose to join one of the bus tours at any designated stop along three tour routes that showcase different aspects of Singapore and landmarks like the Esplanade, Merlion, Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Orchard Road.
AMOY Singapore is located in Far East Square, 76 Telok Ayer St.
