The brand spanking new Sentosa Fire Station has just started operations. At 8am today, to be exact. Located at 37 Artillery Avenue, it is the Singapore Civil Defence Force’s 21st fire station in Singapore, and it will offer emergency services within Sentosa and to places in the vicinity, including HarbourFront and Telok Blangah.
A fleet of five emergency vehicles — two fire engines, a fire bike, an ambulance and an aerial firefighting and rescue support vehicle — are at the station. With this new establishment, the fire post in Sentosa, which has been around since 2008, will shut down.
