A man believed to have moved into Boon Keng only about 10 days ago was arrested yesterday for throwing things out of his seventh-floor HDB flat in a suspected tiff with a neighbour.
Doesn’t sound too bad until you find out he didn’t just throw any old thing — what came crashing down were a broom, dust pan, glass tank, microwave and air-conditioner compressors.
According to Channel NewsAsia, about 70 people crowded at the foot of the block when they heard all the commotion.
Police reportedly received a call for help at around 8:40pm and were later seen clearing up the debris with members of the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
