Ever wondered how it’d be like receiving something in the mail from your ‘favouritest’ idol?
Navy serviceman Jason Chee knows how it feels.
An avid Arsenal supporter since he was 14, Chee received a letter from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on Jul. 24. The longest serving manager (since 1996) of the team had heard of Chee’s injury and felt he had to convey his best regards from the entire Arsenal Football Club.

Chee had lost three limbs and three right fingers in a horrific sea accident a year and a half ago. He has since resumed work in the Singapore Navy, this time as an operational supervisor.

Chee expressed his gratitude and excitement in a Facebook post yesterday.
“I have just received your air mail letter. When I open up the envelope, the first expression on my face is VERY SUPRISED (sic)!!! I REALLY CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!”
“Want to take this opportunity to say a BIG BIG BIG THANKS for the best wishes that your Arsenal team have given to me!!!”
