This year’s National Day Parade may not be on your mind yet, but ticket applications are already open. From May 13-22, you can apply for a chance to watch the celebratory spectacle unfold in front of your eyes — tickets in batches of two, four and six are available for two preview shows (July 23 and 30) and the actual day (August 9). But the lesser tickets you apply for, the more likely you are to get them, according to the Ministry of Defence.
Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply, and those successful will be notified from June 2 to 8 via the contact number provided. Things to take note of: Each NRIC holder is restricted to one application, tickets are not distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis (so chill out), and successful applicants last year will not be considered this year.
Tickets can be collected from June 10 to 19, between 10am to 9pm at Kallang Wave Mall Atrium. You’ll wanna hold on tightly to those coveted slips lest you miss out on the mass singing of tunes like ‘Home’ and ‘Stand Up for Singapore’ when NDP returns to the National Stadium for the first time in ten years.
Visit www.ndp.org.sg or ballot for tickets via SMS or SAM and AXS stations.
