Bad news, Natalie Ong supporters. The Singapore-born, Melbourne-based 15-year-old singer with the powerhouse vocals, who killed it at her audition for The X Factor Australia, has now been eliminated from the competition. It happened on Monday, after the first live show of the season on Sunday, where she belted out ‘When Love Takes Over’ by David Guetta, featuring Kelly Rowland. The performance was pretty spectacular, and it earned her rave reviews from all the judges.
Unfortunately, Ong was eliminated during the results show, along with three other contestants.
Now her only chance to return is to make a comeback at the wildcard round. In the meantime, you can watch her previous performances of ‘The Voice Within’ by Christina Aguilera and ‘I’d Rather Go Blind’ by Etta James.
