The police today said they are investigating a murder that took place at Block 190A in Rivervale Drive.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted at 5:35am on Friday. When they arrived, a 67-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic, and a woman – believed to be his daughter – was arrested. The man had suffered multiple wounds.

Another group were also investigating a four-room flat on the 15th floor. The area was also cordoned off.
The police were also seen talking to neighbours. According to the The Straits Times, two neighbours who lived next door for 23 years, Lalitha Sivalingam and Vathembal Kandasamy said that the deceased’s wife passed away two months ago from cancer.
