Motorists stuck in traffic jam for over three hours at Tuas Second Link

With the holiday season comes the traffic jams, and most Singaporean motorists can attest that nothing is worst than being stuck for hours on the borders between Malaysia and Singapore.

Though the Second Link causeway is favoured for lesser traffic congestion as compared to the oft-nightmarish conditions at Woodlands Checkpoint, motorists reported a traffic jam that lasted over three hours yesterday evening at Tuas.

A motorist speaking to The New Paper remarked that she only managed to move her vehicle for only 20 meters in the three hours she was stuck in the jam. The lack of shops and toilets nearby only served to frustrate the travellers.

Perhaps they should’ve picked Woodlands Checkpoint in the end.
