If you knowingly pulled over in a spot that wasn’t an actual parking lot, you’d understandably be a little on edge when you returned and discovered what looked like a parking summons on your vehicle. But luckily for this motorcyclist, who received a ‘ticket’ at the Geylang Serai Bazaar, the end result did not include a fine.
Apparently, helmet bag brand Get Hilikus.sg (‘Get High, Like Us) has been going around placing ‘parking summons’ on vehicles near the Ramadan bazaar. It’s a pretty creative way to market a brand, especially since the design of the flyer looks so realistic — but it probably horrified multiple drivers for a couple seconds before they realized they weren’t actually getting a ticket.
Good stuff though.
