The Merlion statue at the Merlion Park is getting ready for her close-up.
To be precise, they’re replacing faulty water basin lights at the base of the Merlion statue, according to a Singapore Tourism Board news release. As any female above 40 years old know, lighting is everything.
The East-facing half-fish and half-lion marketing icon of the tourism board will be available for photo opportunities again from Dec 25 to Jan 3, 2016.
She will be hoarded up again for regular cleaning from Jan 4 to 8.
Meanwhile, the public is welcome to take photos with the Merlion cub statue at the Merlion Park, said STB.
