Last night, a Go-Jek driver by the name of Kamaruzzaman Abdul Latiff uploaded a video that depicted a bewildering ordeal he had a couple of days ago with a difficult passenger. Little did he know that his 7-minute clip would take the country by storm, played repeatedly by tens of thousands of people and sealing itself in the annals of local viral lore.

You’re in for a treat if you haven’t seen it yet. Here’s a play-by-play of the driver’s encounter with the passenger, who accused him of kidnapping her and attempting to lock her in the car. He didn’t, of course. She simply failed to grasp that modern cars have auto-lock mechanisms.

The issue has gotten so viral today that a member of the Go-Jek drivers Facebook group claimed that a customer living in the same block as the lady found it hard to book his ride. Because drivers have apparently blacklisted the whole building as a no-go zone in order not to pick up the hysterical lady.

Internet sleuths have already outed the lady’s identity, but let’s not go there. Instead, turn your gaze to the multitude of memes that have emerged today in the wake of the dramatic, farcical video. Take a gander below.
