MediaCorp held a foundation stone laying ceremony for its new campus set for a 2015 opening, on Nov. 8.
The campus will feature open, collaborative spaces, plus state-of-the-art facilities like a 1,600-seater Broadcast Performance Arts Theatre, a Broadcast Centre and even its own red carpet stairway.
At the ceremony, CEO Shaun Seow announced three public engagement initiatives including ideas submission for the time capsule celebrating Singapore’s 50th birthday next year and campus naming. An interactive tour exposing the public to the behind-the-scenes of content creation in Singapore is also in the works.
