“Danny Wang Ting Wei, who was working in a construction company, is the 50th man to be dealt with and the 48th to be convicted out of the 51 men first hauled to court three years ago,” reports The Straits Times.
Wang, 29, found his 17-year-old victim on a website which advertised her as an 18-year-old polytechnic student.
He booked her services through a pimp in Jan 2011.
Wang did not verify her age when they finally met in person — big mistake.
Having paid sex with a minor could get up to seven years in jail and/or a fine.
