Hundreds of people have been praising the man who rescued a boy from a window ledge in Hougang over the weekend.
Identifying himself as Kuasha Das on Facebook, praises have been filling the comments since yesterday after the worker went online to say that he had saved the child’s life during his Sunday morning shift. He also posted photos of himself holding the kid as he stood on the boom lift.
“At a work time I saving one children life in Singapore..at last my life is a good job..l pray for the God i doing the work properly,” he wrote online.

Police arrived at the scene at Block 243 Hougang Street 22 after the six-year-old boy was rescued. The child was reportedly home alone when he climbed out of the third story kitchen window.
A video of Das making his way towards the boy via the boom lift and carrying the child to safety was circulating online. The clip ended with the sound of cheers from onlookers in the background.
Das’ online post about his rescue has been shared more than 3,000 times since it went up last night.
“Good job bro., You have saved a soul..god bless you,” a man named Mohamed Sahabudeen commended online.
“Well done bro!! Thank you and god bless you always!” someone named Sharon Tay said.
