Uh-oh, pervert alert.
One man known as Wei Ming Lim recently drew attention to himself when he posted photos of women’s undergarments that he allegedly swiped from people living in housing estates like Tampines and Yew Tee.
The lewd photos included a selfie of himself holding up a lacy pink G-string, while the caption said that he had gone “public panty sniffing” at Block 356 Tampines Street 33.
The 34-year-old was arrested for public nuisance at 4.30am today, after several reports were lodged against him yesterday, police said in a statement. He will be charged in court tomorrow and could subsequently be fined up to S$1,000 if convicted.
But it doesn’t just stop there. Dude also claimed he had masturbated onto one of the undergarments before hanging it back to dry. (We hope, for the wearer’s sake, that the soiled item was tossed in the trash.)
In the post that was geo-tagged to Yew Tee, Lim said: “Public pcc (masturbation) onto black shorts. Then after that just hang back same place I took it. Will dry by …”
For those not in the know, PCC stands for “phah ch’ew ch’eng” in Hokkien, which literally means to “fire a hand-gun”. It’s basically a slang used to describe male masturbation.
Lim’s sordid spree continued in Choa Chu Kang, in a post that featured a pair of white panties with the caption saying: “Personal favorite, Whitey. 7 times daily before turning yellowish.”
The man had been posting the photos on his Instagram account for a while before it came to the attention of netizens last night.
According to checks by Coconuts Singapore, it appears that he had deleted his initial account, where he garnered more than a thousand followers, before setting up a new one.
However, screenshots of the posts from his previous account have already made their way to other social media pages like All Singapore Stuff – where they’ve been shared more than 3,000 times since they were posted at around 10pm last night.
While reports of men getting arrested for offenses related to women’s panties are not new in Singapore, to see one so boldly in action is something else.
Last month, a serial undergarment thief was sentenced to three months’ jail after he was caught with 120 bras and 37 pairs of panties in his flat along Balam Road, according to reports.
