The General Election isn’t the only thing that’s heating up these couple of days — violent incidents have been ramping up too. Just this morning, folks heading for their morning commute towards Ang Mo Kio MRT were greeted with a grisly case of stabbing that left a man dying in a pool of blood.
Police received an alert around 7.58am this morning about a man lying motionless at the sheltered walkway along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8. According to STOMP, he was allegedly stabbed multiple times and paramedics tried to revive him before conveying him to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. The 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at 9.14am.

Police officers were also spotted surrounding another man, believed to be a suspect. According to a news release, the 39-year-old man will be charged tomorrow for the offence of murder.
