On Sunday (Aug 20) around 7:49pm, the police were notified of a case of an individual falling from height at Block 570, Hougang Street 51. According to Shin Min Daily News, a 39-year-old man had accidentally fallen from the second floor, where he was reportedly sitting on the window ledge and drinking beer.
After receiving a call for ambulance assistance, the Singapore Civil Defence Force dispatched one to the scene. The man was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and it is believed that he suffered head injuries, reported The Straits Times.
One of the neighbors said that there was a pool of blood where the man had landed on the ground.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
